Arbitration Clause
All users of the Locally123 platform agree to binding arbitration for unresolved disputes as part of our Terms of Service. The Job Protection record provides the documented record that makes arbitration fast, clear, and fair for both parties.
Independent Contractor Clarity
Technicians are independent businesses, or employees of the company you hired — never Locally123 employees. The Job Protection record documents who attended the job, when, and what was done, which protects providers from unfair liability claims and customers from fraudulent service.
Data Retention Policy
Job Protection records are retained for 1 year from the date of capture and then permanently deleted. This comfortably covers the full window for credit card chargebacks (typically 120 days) and most arbitration timelines. No manual deletion is required — the system handles it automatically.
During the retention window, access is limited to: the technician who created the package, their company owner, the customer on that job, and authorized Locally123 administrators. Records are never shared with third parties except when required to contest a formal chargeback or legal dispute.
